Giacinto Ignazio Pellegrini da Zara (born on October 24, 1738, died in October 1792) was a dominican inquisitor and bishop.
He was born in Zadar as Ignazio Maria Vincenzo. He entered the Order of Preachers in his native city and took the name of Giacinto. He was ordained priest on July 26, 1761. He subsequently served as lector of philosophy, regens of studies and prior of the convent of S. Domenico in Zadar. He graduated master of theology. On June 11, 1785 he was elected prior provincial of the Province of Dalmatia.
On February 12, 1783 he was appointed inquisitor general of Zadar and Dalmatia and occupied that post for six years; he was penultimate inquisitor of that tribunal. On March 30, 1789 he was elected bishop of Veglia in Dalmatia and received episcopal consecration from Cardinal Francesco Saverio de Zelada on April 13, 1789.
He died in his episcopal seat at the age of 54.
